Her version of the song I Love Rock’ n Roll ranked number one spot on Billboard Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks in 1982. Due to her substantial successes in rock and roll and due to her legendary status as the Godmother of Punk, she is referred to as The Queen of Rock and Roll.
